I am seeking participants for a research study focused on women’s sexual self-concept. I am interested in speaking with women who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse and also have a positive view of their sexuality.

If you are interested in participating I would like to speak with you regarding your interest in this study. If you agree to participate, you will be asked to complete a demographics survey and a survey describing the sexual abuse you experienced as a child. You will also be asked to participate in one interview with the researcher, which will require one to two hours of your time. To compensate you for your participation in this study you will be provided with a $25 gift card.

Any Information published from this study will not identify you by name and your information will be kept confidential.

Interested participants must be a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, over age 25, biologically born female, and must have been in at least one significant committed relationship lasting 2 years or longer in which you engaged in sexual activity with a partner, and have a positive view of their sexuality.

If you are interested, please contact Tracie Hitter at tlhitter@nmsu.edu

WHAT IS THIS?

This is my mindspill. Mostly about comics, books, video games, movies of the science fiction and fantasy leanings. Sometimes recipes and parenting stuff will sneak in, along with a real world rant or two.

I also write about geek culture at Women Write About Comics, and I review genre fiction at The BiblioSanctum.
